I have seen the embarassing look on the kids' faces when stopped by the police because of skateboarding, rollerblading, etc. It is good to be well informed to avoid problems.
Here is some information that will come in handy when visiting Ocean City, as indicated on the official Ocean City website:
To keep everyone safe, special regulations take effect in the summer. Bicyclists and rollerbladers must follow the schedules listed below. No skateboards are allowed on the boardwalk, or on public streets, alleys, sidewalks or lots. A skateboard park is available at 3rd Street and St. Louis Avenue. For the latest information on skate park hours and regulations, call the Ocean City Recreation and Parks Department at (410) 250-0125 or (410) 289-2695.

Once again I take this opportunity to thank those who rented from me in the past. I still get many requests for the condo. While we enjoy Ocean City very much, we have moved on to staying on a floating condo (our boat). Our Ocean City condo became a year round rental. Eventually it will no longer belong to us, but I will continue to inform vacationers about Ocean City through this site.
